Hey Graduates! It’s YOUR big day. Graduation is a really important milestone. You want to look your best for your graduation day. We know you have plenty on your to-do list. We wanted to offer some tips to make your graduation day a little less stressful. Below are 5 easy steps to preparing your cap and gown for graduation.
1. Immediately Remove The Gown From The Bag
In order to ensure that your cap, gown and tassel are ready for graduation, it is important to remove it as soon as you get home. Leaving the gown in the bag doesn’t allow the fabric to breathe and relax.
2. Place Your Gown On The Hanger
After you take the graduation gown out of the bag, place it on a hanger and let the wrinkles fall out. If you still have some pesky wrinkles, here are some tips you can try.
Use a cool iron or steamer on the gown
Hang the gown in a bathroom and run the shower as the steam should help release wrinkles
Make sure you don’t wash or dry clean the gown
